Pic3DSheet bring Glass Free 3D to iPhone
Japanese Company Global Wave have unveiled their product Pic3D sheet, which converts Windows-based laptop, desktop PC or iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch into a 3D display device.
The PIC 3D Sheet sheet uses a lenticular lens system in tis structure instead of a parallax barrier resulting in a smoother, more consistent image, yielding a reported 90-percent transmission level and 120-degree field of view.
The Global Wave Windows and iOS apps output video in a side-by-side format, simulating a 3D image that can be viewed without special 3D Glasses.
Prices for Pic3D sheet range from ¥2,000 (about $25) for an iPhone or iPod touch sheet, all the way up to ¥15,000 (about $186) for a 23-inch desktop version.
The Pic3D Sheet can be applied in front of the screen of the device to which 3D display is to be viewed such as the screen of laptop, desktop PC, iPhone etc. Once the screen is covered with Pic3D sheet and the software required to execute Pic3D sheet installed the user’s can view 3D images without having the need for special 3D glasses.
